, | Full-time
Tablet is all about discovering the world's most extraordinary hotels — places where you'll find a memorable experience, not just a room for the night. For 20+ years we’ve scoured the earth, evaluating hotels that meet our high standards across every price point, creating a hand-picked selection that’s proven and inspired. In fact, our painstaking curation led to Michelin making us the official hotel selection of their legendary MICHELIN Guide. The MICHELIN Guide had always been a benchmark in gastronomy. Now it’s setting the same standard for hotels.
Our mission is to open doors to places people will love that they might not have found on their own, extraordinary places that reflect the beauty and diversity of the world. Our team believes that travel brings people of all backgrounds together. Our hotels provide an unforgettable backdrop for that union.
Headquartered in New York City, we operate in eight languages, with thousands of incredible hotels located in over a hundred different countries. And if you really want to take it to the next level, our Tablet Plus Travel Club provides VIP upgrades and amenities at hundreds of our properties.
Technical Project Manager
Tablet Hotels is an internationally used platform featuring thousands of curated hotels around the world. While maintaining core Tablet Hotels products, our team also leads design and development for MICHELIN Guide. Projects are becoming increasingly ambitious as we continue to expand internationally. We support an evolving product ecosystem for two brands with feature parity across three mobile apps and two websites. We’re offering high impact opportunities as we influence the digital transformation of the Michelin Lifestyle group (gastronomy and travel).
As the department’s third project manager, you’ll lead daily standups, sprint ceremonies, and regular project check-in meetings for a small squad of developers overseeing features related to availability, rates, and inventory management. The day-to-day involves consulting with cross-time zone (NYC and Paris) product, design, and developer teams to assess needs, conflicts, and prioritize releases. You’ll predict roadblocks, analyze dependencies, and actively propel projects forward.
This is a pivotal moment in establishing the future of project management and product delivery within Tablet and Michelin. Working across technology, product, design, and executive teams requires cultivating confidence, iterating on process, building accountability, and ensuring a consistent flow of information. An understanding of software development and technical knowledge (what an API is and how it works) is essential in being able to get ahead of conflicts, prioritize tickets, and influence accordingly.
